In August, the World Wine Awards of Canada 2014 were held – WineAlign’s exclusive annual competition – bringing outstanding recognition for Viña Tarapacá that excelled with great scores and admiring reviews in Canada this year.
During the event, which aims to identify the finest wines sold in Canada, 1,100 wines were sampled by a wide range of critics, wine writers, customers and Master Sommeliers from the country, who blind tasted wines for one week in Toronto, Ontario in order to choose the best wines in each respective category.
Our brand managed to place inside the Judges Choice category, with two of its wines standing out: Gran Reserva Etiqueta Negra 2011 in the above 25C$ range and Gran Reserva Carmenére 2012 in the 15C$ to 25C$ range.
